[Bruce had been in a hurry. Being chased by the United States military would do that to you, you see. The sudden change of scenery, however, had been enough to prompt an abrupt stop. I mean, one second you're charging through some lady's underwear and the next you're standing in the middle of a cell? That's a little disconcerting. Bruce is almost absolutely positive he hadn't changed. He wasn't missing any time. Nothing had happened to provoke it.
So....what happened?
He dropped his pack on the bed and set about giving the room a good once over. The sounds of the pursuing soldiers had died, so he figured he had the time. The journal is the last thing he picks up and he thumbs through it, getting a feel for how it works. Reading entries, listening to them. The mechanics of the book are astounding. After a moment or two more, he decides to give it a try himself. The audio cuts in and out briefly as he experiments and then finally:]
Hello?

Hello?

[Video] forever
A pleasure to meet you, Bruce, barring the rather unforeseen circumstances of our meeting. Holloway's Keep is... in a universe separate, and very far from, your own world, I'm afraid.
There is, as of yet, no way for us to return to our homes that we have found, or that has been shared with us.
[Audio] forever
Are you sure?

There are those of us that doubt some of what we are being told, if only because we have seen things in the past that make us question them. There are those of us that believe we are not being told entire truths, at the very least, but have yet to learn anything concrete.
[She lifts her chin slightly, her expression resolute.]
I refuse to believe it is all gone and that I will never see my homeland and loved ones again.

How do you even react to that?
I mean how do you even process it?]
Talia, are you absolutely certain?
[Surely S.H.E.I.L.D would've done something?]
Why are we here then?

I wish it were otherwise... my abilities allow me to feel others from my own world... I have not felt the one I share the closest bond with since before my arrival here.
[Rolan, she misses you every moment of every day.]
As to the why... we are told it's until the Lord of this place is able to repair our worlds and return them to their whole form once again.

Thanks. For telling me this, I mean.

At his thanks, she inclines her head briefly.]
I try to help where I can... I'm just sorry it has to be for this.
